Calculus

Calculus studies the computation of limits, derivatives, and integrals of functions of real numbers, and in particular studies instantaneous rates of change.

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and Isaac Newton developed Infinitesimal calculus independently in the late 17th century. It was refined by Cauchy,Weierstrass, and Riemann. Calculus is used in science, engineering, & economics.

Integral calculus - concerns accumulation of quantities, and areas under or between curves.

Integral Calculus is the branch of calculus where we study integrals and their properties. Integration is an essential concept which is the inverse process of differentiation. Both the integral and differential calculus are related to each other by the fundamental theorem of calculus.
